We started off on Wordpress in 2022, but the cost of all of the subscriptions started to add up, and we couldn't get exactly what we wanted, despite the massive number of modules. What really turned us off of WordPress was the turmoil between WordPress.com and WPEngine.com, which shook our confidence in the WordPress ecosystem, so we opted to move to Backdrop CMS because they are a low/no drama project.
